Hello creative friends, I know it’s just two days before Christmas but this is not a Christmas-y post. Every four weeks I release a new printable and it happens to fall close to a holiday. I still want to wish you a blessed Christmas and all the best in the new year! For the next four weeks the focus will be on trust, wisdom and understanding. Sounds easy enough but as I was designing these printables I was convicted many times. I don’t trust God nearly enough, I’m not as wise as I sometimes think I am and I sure could use more understanding. Will you join me for the next month studying this subject?

Proverbs 1:7 says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be a fool, not now, not ever!!

For my journal page my focus was on the fear of the Lord. What impressed me the most is to see it as a wholesome dread of displeasing God. That paints a good picture for me. It’s not a fear of this horrible mean God. Not at all. Instead, it’s an awesome God that I want to obey and please. Again, I don’t want to be a fool by despising His wisdom and instruction. I desire to walk in His ways, today and for the rest of my life.
