Hello creative friends, I have another post for you that is all about coloring books! In this tutorial I will show you a few different ways to use your Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
Supplies:
Coloring Book from Leisure Arts
Dual Brush Pens, Blending Palette, Blending Brush, Blending Mister, Stamp Runner and Adhesive Dots from Tombow
Acrylic album and shapes.
Sharpie
Ribbon
Letter Stickers
To begin this project, cut your coloring pages down to the size of your album pages.

Step One: Scribble the ink of a dual brush pen on a blending palette and spray it with water. Pick up the ink with a blending brush and color with it. This method will give you a watercolor look.

Step Two: Scribble two colors on the palette and use the blending brush to color the pedals starting with the lightest color.

Step Three: Add the darker color around the center of the flower.

Step Four: Scribble blue ink on your palette, use a purple dual brush pen and dip it into the blue. Color straight on the paper with the mix of ink. Once done clean your pen by scribbling on a scrap piece of paper until the ink only colors purple.

Step Five: Try step four with different colors and continue coloring the rest of the album. I mostly colored mine with the dual brush pens directly onto the paper.

Step Six: Use Tombow colored double sided adhesive dots to adhere the cut out coloring page to the acrylic pieces or the album. I placed the dots in places where it would look like part of the flowers. When the adhesive didn’t show I used a Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

For the page above, I liked how the back of my watercolor paged looked so I kept it visible.
I also traced some flowers from the coloring book onto an overhead transparency. I used a sharpie for this.

Have fun layering all your different coloring pages together!
