I spent years praying for healing and breakthroughs that never came. I prayed from a place of shame where I did not think I was worthy to even have my prayers answered. I prayed like I was a slave to God instead of His child. I begged and pleaded with God instead of standing on His truth.

I have been going through the study and prayer each day. Felt so good to be going forward.
Much of this year I have felt that I was standing still while trying to fill each day with things. Art classes, knitting everyday, watching too much tv, baking more than usual…..but at the same time I felt I was just marking time. This challenge has helped me to refocus and reestablish better goals.

I didn’t especially have something to ‘breakthrough’ on, I took the challenge as a way to learn to up my game with time in prayer and contemplation. It was inspiring, challenging and uplifting.
I loved having something creative to do to focus me on the word and on the aspect of the scripture you brought out each day. I loved that you’d prayerfully put together a theme and stuck within that. I loved the use of music to channel and focus the mind and heart on what we were doing. I put all my artwork from it into a binder to look back at and be re-inspired.

I enjoyed this prayer challenge more than others because it involved so many ways to learn. From meditating and personalizing the verse of the day I engaged my mind and heart. I found God speaking to me. Then I listened to the worship song so I saw Him putting my shattered heart back together. This gave me hope. Coloring the templates provided engaged touch. I was coloring with Him. I made a wall of truth by taping all of them to one wall. God became more dimensional more alive. He is alive for me now. Thank you for writing this prayer challenge, I learned so much. It encouraged me and strengthened my faith.
