UGLY. That’s how I saw myself in every way, inside and out. It’s what I saw when I looked in the mirror.  It didn’t matter that my husband found me beautiful, or that others did too. I pretended well, I never let on just how hideous I thought I was. Some may even have thought that I was confident, at least in some ways. It was far from the only lie I was believing. At 33 I finally realized that I AM a princess! The daughter of a king; THE KING! He sees me as beautiful, He sees me without blemish. I may not be a fashion model but through my growth in Christ Jesus, I am becoming more and more beautiful everyday! The more I believe God about who I am in Christ the more I am able to love…Him, myself, others. The more I believe His truth over lies, the more I become who I was meant to be. It’s hard to accomplish anything when you are convinced that you are ugly. (and a failure, and not good enough etc…)  The bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7 that “The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”  When I looked at myself before, I didn’t see someone that was good enough to accomplish great things but now when I look at myself I see a woman surrendered to her Lord and ready to step out in all that He has planned for her. I AM BEAUTIFUL, INSIDE AND OUT.  And so are you…you just need HIS eyes to see it! Let the king be enthralled by your beauty, honor Him, for He is your Lord! Please know that I am praying for you, that His truth about your beauty would shine through. You are created in God’s image, don’t ever forget that!  I want to leave you with this song…There has never been a more beautiful you!
