Hello friends,
How are you today? I hope you’re well. I’m wondering if you are stuck somewhere and unable to move forward. Has your creativity been stiffled along the way by something someone said? Has your work been rejected by the one you wanted to impress? Don’t look back, look ahead. Are you stressed out because your art (in whatever form that may be) doesn’t get a lot of likes on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram? Don’t look back, look ahead. It actually doesn’t matter. Your identity is not based on the clicks of a keyboard. You are you and you are awesome. You were created to be the best you that you can be. If your gift of creativity has an impact on only one person then it is worth it. Actually, if it only makes a difference in your own life, then it’s still worth it. Someone out there needs to see your art today. Someone out there needs to hear what you have to say today. Don’t be afraid. Go for it. Step out of the boat and don’t look back. You are creative, we all are. My creativity looks different than yours. I need you, and you need me. We work together, it’s not a competion. Be yourself! Don’t rob the world of your awesomeness. Rejection is in the past, don’t look back. look ahead. I admit I’m speaking from experience but I have to say that the less I care about impressing people, the happier I am with my work.

I love the effect of the different layers of media on the chipboard. The texture sand paste peaks ever so slightly through the crackle glaze and looks fabulous!
All the media that I used was provided by Deco Art. I am very pleased with this new line!
The beautiful chipboard is from Gina’s Designs

One day at a time- this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone. And do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.

A wonderful message, and a beautiful craft! Never would’ve thought to use cork board as a canvas. Clever girl! 🙂
I have a whole roll to use up so I’ll be doing this again! Thanks for your comment.
Great project – love all the different effects you got!!
