Freedom Friday-Finish What You Start

Hello friends, it’s Friday and I’d like to introduce you to Freedom Friday! I’ve decided that Friday will be a day for things that bring freedom in one way or another. Some posts will still include Finish What You Start because that brings me a lot of freedom!

Freedom Cards

Today’s project represents freedom in a number of ways. First, I started AND finished these cards in one sitting. (well almost, let’s face it, when you have kids they do need to eat and be looked after but the point is that it didn’t stay on my desk over night or worse!)

I used left over baby shower invitations for my surfaces, they were perfect after a few coats of gesso. Using up what I already have on hand spells freedom to me!

Freedom Cards Love

Because I have let go of past hurts and fears I am free to love.

Freedom Cards Rest

Because I don’t have to strive and work like crazy to be accepted I am free to rest.

Freedom Cards Grow

Because I am willing to learn I am free to grow.

Freedom Cards Bloom

Because I don’t have to hide the real me I am free to bloom.

Freedom Cards Change

Because I am teachable I am free to change.

Because I am a child of God and He is king I am free to be royalty.

Before After Studio

Another reason to celebrate Freedom Friday is that I cleaned my work surface. It was so incredibly enjoyable to just go and sit down and start creating! Normally that table is stacked high with an array of creative piles! That is why I usually end up working on the studio tables but that’s a post for another Freedom Friday!

And now for the most freeing part of all…after I was done, I put everything away and cleaned up immediately!!! Wow, you have no idea how big that is for me!

What is one thing you can do today for your creative life that will bring you freedom?

Go for it, it feels so good!
