Hello creative friends! Tomorrow is National Mod Pogde® day and I have partnered up with the Designer Craft Connection and Plaid® to celebrate! Since I’m an avid journaler I go through journals quickly so I can never have enough. This project is super easy to make with the Mod Podge® 7 piece tool kit. I love this kit, especially the squeegee which I found so perfect for smoothing out the paper. Of course, lets not forget my slight obsession with cute zipper pouches!!
Supplies:
Composition Book
Patterned Paper
Mod Podge® Gloss
Mod Podge® 7 Piece Tool Set
Step One: Measure and cut the patterned paper to fit onto the composition book front and back.
Step Two: Use the paint brush to cover the front of the book with Mod Podge®, adhere the paper to it. Use the squeegee to smooth it all out. Add borders and diecuts the same way. Repeat the same process on the back of the book.
Step Three: Cover the entire surface of the book with a layer or two of Mod Podge® allowing it to dry between layers.
Step Four: Sand away any rough edges with the emery board.
Step Five: Use the small scissors to fussy cut some elements from the patterned paper.
Step Six: Adhere the cut elements onto the book using some Mod Podge® on the front and back.
