For me one of the things I love the most during the holidays is packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Usually my four kids pack a box for someone their own age and we go shopping to buy all the things to fill a box. This year we went to a church where they had different stations set up with everything needed to fill a backpack. We just paid at the door and the kids got to chose what they wanted from each station, plus an essential kit so nothing was missing. It was a great way to start the Christmas season. It is my dream to one day be part of team that would deliver these gifts to children around the world. Having been to Haiti twice, I know how much gifts mean to children who have very little.

This is a lovely layout, the use of the map is very clever for Joy to the World. What a wonderful idea – we like to choose a name each from the Christmas tree at our church and share the Christmas spirit that way.
