Hello creative friends, I’ve been busy putting together a prayer journal that I’ve name “War Book” Since I don’t have a spare room in my house to dedicate as a War Room like in the movie I’ve made a book instead. I will be adding to it and changing things up but here is the beginning of it.

I traced some dividers on the beautiful paper and cut them out by hand. I cut out some extra journaling cards to add later as I memorize scripture. I’ve been wanting to make this book for a long time. It’s amazing to me how much more effective and committed I am to my prayer life now that I’m keeping track this way. I have the book divided into sections. I pray for myself, husband and kids everyday so we each have our own sections which are divided into everyday of the week with different things to pray for each day. Then I have a weekly section with 7 tabs and specific things that I pray for on each day of the week. Monday is for Pastors and Leaders…each one has his/her own page, I have a day for family and friends, church and missions….you get the picture! My monthly section has 30 days in it where I commit to praying for certain people on the same day each month . Next I have an adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication (ACTS) section and the book ends with a daily section where I add daily stuff that didn’t fit anywhere else.

I hope you are inspired to make your own War Binder!!
All supplies used for this book were sent to me by Tombow as part of their Ambassador program.
-Gilded Lily Collection from Graphic 45.
Fiesta stamp from Stampendous which comes with a stencil.
Adhesive from Tombow

This is a very good idea. I’m going to share it at our “Seniors” meeting. We had a showing of The War Room not long ago in class so this might be a good or should I say on your part, a God thought.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dayle. I can’t take credit for the war binder idea…saw it on the internet!! But I know you are right, it was God’s idea in the first place!
Love this! And the colors are gorgeous! Please keep these pictures coming!
