Why Waste Wednesday

Hello fellow bloggers!
I’m here with Why Waste Wednesday, this time using older supplies as opposed to scraps. I ordered this paper three years ago and although it is very pretty, it was not what I had expected so I never used it. I’ll be honest, I don’t like shells (unless they’re on the beach!) and this collection was covered in shells which I did not see on-line. Sooooo, instead of wasting it I decide to use it.
This layout is about my daughter’s baptism. This was a big step for her and she did not take the decision lightly. It was really beautiful to see her take this step. She was sad to not have her grand-parents there but was blessed to be surrounded by our church family.

The title was very important to me and it took a long time to find it. I knew it was the right one as soon as I saw it!

I printed the words out using the clementine font, cut them out and used silver alcohol ink to colour the letters. (beware, it flakes and is not made for paper…but it looks really cool!)
I fussy cut a bunch of the flowers on the paper and covered them in stickles. Lastly I added  pearls and I was done.
How about you, do you have old papers you could get creative with? Comment on this post to let me know what you plan on doing with it!
