A New Chapter SEM Blog Hop

Hello blogger friends!
Welcome to “A New Chapter Blog Hop”
If you have come from Sherri’s   blog, you are in the right place, if not you’ll want to start at the SEM blog.
I am so excited to announce that for the next 6 month I have the awesome privilege of being on the design team for Scrapping Everyday Miracles

Since they have added a few new design team members they thought a blog hop would be the perfect way to introduce us. We have fabulous prizes and would love to see you all participate!
Each of us have created a project with the theme of starting a new chapter to show you on our blogs. I hope that you will  hop along to each blog and leave some love to all these amazing ladies!
For this blog hop we created projects that represent a new chapter in our lives. The twist was to use book pages or book text. I hope you all participate!

For your chance to win the grand prize, please start at the SEM blog and  follow the instructions there.
Now for my project!
I can’t take credit for the design of this album, it is from My little Shoebox. I took one of their workshops and since it had “book pages” on it, I knew it was perfect for this.
I guess I should talk about this new chapter in my life. I’ve decided in the last year to go for my dreams. No longer am I too insecure to believe that it can happen. Even trying out for this design team was a bold step. I didn’t think I would make it but I tried anyway and it totally paid off! The photos in this album show the new confident me!
Many of these photos were taken at CHA (a huge trade show and conference where all the new crafting products get revealed) I never thought I’d be going there, meeting some of my favourite artists. In fact, getting my picture taken with some of them was something that only the new me would do!
I have many more photos to add but this is enough to make my point!
I included my new business card in the album because I designed it myself on Illustrator…a huge accomplishment since I am very technically challenged. (but I’m learning so much!) I’m so proud of how professional my cards look. It says that I am a designer, teacher, artist…and that was really hard for me to admit. Not something I would of said out loud! I made them double sided, one side for my store, one side for me!
I had to use this sticker on the last page because this new chapter would not be happening if it was not for the love and support that I get from my husband. He has been my biggest fan and wouldn’t let me quit no matter how much I wanted too. I’m so excited for the next chapter!
Your next stop is Cara   Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop, please leave a comment and  become a follower of my blog before October 1st  11:59pm PDT  for your chance to win a stack of 6×6 sheets of chipboard!
