Hello creative friends, it’s still March so National Craft Month is not over yet! This week is crafts made with paper at 100 Directions so I took the opportunity to use up some of my stash to make this simple journal to use alongside my bible journaling.

I’ve noticed a lot of people using a separate book to record some of their bible journaling entries and since I have so much scrapbook paper I plan on making a bunch of these little notebooks.
I kept the binding extremely simple, just fed some embroidery floss through two holes that I punched in each page. I also pulled out an old corner punch with hearts that I hadn’t used in years. I love it and should use it more often!

No notebook is complete unless it has pockets so I folded a 12×12 piece of paper and adhered the sides to create this folder like page. I cut some butterflies with a punch to decorate the front of the notebook and made some cute paperclips with them as well.

Lastly I used my brand new tab punch to cut out matching tabs. Notebooks must have tabs!! I used card stock for the pages so that it can handle all the media I use. If I was just going to write I would use copy paper.

Fun idea, I especially love the pockets! Thank you so much for sharing.
